Think of a natural land area, located near where you live or go to school, that is now degraded. It could be a wooded area, a field, an abandoned lot, or any other sort of land area that was once a healthy natural ecosystem. Write a plan for how you would restore the area. (You could use the 4-point strategy listed on p. 257 as a basis for your plan.) Estimate the number of people you will need to help you. Estimate the cost of the project and how long it will take to restore the area to a functioning ecosystem.
