Many people come to an organization because it exudes innovation. They want to be on the cutting edge and use their ingenuity and creativity. Three factors lead the way to innovative ideas: technology, the expanding world, and more demanding customers. Schools need to teach students how to think creatively.

Based on your readings from the text (chapters 9, 10), use the following questions as prompts to write a paper wherein you expound on your views of innovation:

1. How do you see innovation in the context of your current position?
2. How often are you rewarded for a creative thought or idea?
3. In what ways is your school’s culture receptive to innovation and change?
4. Would your school think of creating a “think tank” where people can offer suggestions./ideas for improvement?
