Read: Evie Shockley’s “You Can’t Deny It”
Write: an analytical response (now located in this week’s module) in which you detail a clear definition of the word “play” as you understand it. Specifically, I want you to discuss whether all plays have to be perform-able, whether every performance is a type of play, and how/if these lines are blurred. You can use the Evie Shockley play/poem as well as your own understanding of plays and/or the movie you’re watching for class to inform your reasoning for what substantiates a play/performance.
