Mennonites were persecuted in Europe for their “radical” beliefs even though they were not radicals, they were just so strict from other Protestants and Catholics that it seemed bizarre. Seems strange that others of faith would be so judgmental to a group of people who really stuck to their beliefs.
And then after all that it is interesting that the Amish broke away from the Mennonites who were persecuted in Europe for their “Radical” strict beliefs because they felt the Mennonites were not strict enough in shunning. Seems like the mennonites couldn’t win if they wanted to.
